Shallow is a story of two teenagers on the cusp of adulthood who grapple with their pride and masculinity as they attempt to connect on an eventful night out.
Conner has always looked after his best friend Dylan. They grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same schools, and share a brotherly bond.​

As their teenhoods are coming to an unceremonious end, the two of them are set on taking different paths:
Conner has an athletic scholarship and move-in date at the state college.

Dylan has a shitty stepdad and a chip on his shoulder.

​As of February 2025, Shallow is complete and being submitted to festivals throughout the United States, Canada, and the UK.

In the months since Shallow wrapped shooting in Winston-Salem, NC in the summer of 2024, the film has picked up attention on social media. 7 million views and thousands of comments have accrued over just five TikTok posts meant to prompt viewers to participate in the discussion surrounding Shallow's themes and subject matter.
